Laundry Room Makeover Part 2 Farmhouse Cottage Style

I started making over our laundry room back in August but never got around to sharing on here so yesterday I posted Part 1 of our laundry room makeover. Today I am going to pick up where I left off. There were so many pictures that I felt best to just share them in several different posts.

After I finished putting up the Peel & Stick Wallpaper...which actually is not wallpaper  but I will get to that in another post...I could not resist putting up my Wash & Dry Sign and a few other accessories just to see how it would all come together. I loved the cathedral window but ended up taking the metal scrollwork out because I felt it was too busy for the space. I also ended up not putting the sign there. Instead I added a faux beam wood topper to the window which you will see in another picture later on.

Laundry Room Makeover Part 1 Farmhouse Cottage Style

I noticed that my post Farmhouse Laundry Room Mini Makeover from way back in 2017 has been popular here of late.

At the time I was not ready to do a full makeover so all I did was change out the paint color of the space.

As you can see paint makes such a huge difference just by itself!

Hard to believe the big day is tomorrow! I have a few things to wrap but other than that we are ready.

Today I am sharing our breakfast nook holiday tablescape. The breakfast nook is one of my favorite spots this holiday season. I have used a mixture of new and old decor to create a space that is just full of holiday cheer!
It is the first thing we see when we come home and it surely brings a smile.

Breakfast Nook Makeover Reveal Part 1

Today I am sharing with y'all a project that I had been dreaming of since we were building. I had all my ideas sketched out on a piece of paper to make our breakfast nook into something warm and inviting. Last October started my collection of items to make my visions come to life. I didn't actually start the make over though till February. It took me approximately 2 months before it was completely finished.

Spring & Easter Front Porch

I have had our front porch ready for Easter/Spring for awhile now and seeing as Easter is this upcoming weekend I decided I needed to get to sharing it with y'all. You will also get a glimpse of some of the landscaping work I recently finished. I planted 15 boxwoods and various other shrubs to add dimension to our front beds.

Spring Carrot Tulip Wreath Tutorial

This past weekend I was working on the spring porch and needed two wreaths for the windows. I decided that I was going to finally try my hand at creating a carrot tulip wreath. These have been around for a few years and I have never been able to luck up on enough tulips until now.

There are many versions and tutorials out there of the carrot tulip wreath. After browsing them all I came up with my own version of how I wanted to construct the wreaths. I suggest that you browse them all as well and decide what way you think would be best for you. Total time to create one wreath for me was between 2.5 hours to 3 hours.

French Country Fall Breakfast Nook-A Look Back

When does a house stop being new? Tomorrow will be two years since we closed on our new house. Hard to believe it has been two years. Today I thought that I would take a look back at one of my favorite spots in our old house which is the breakfast nook.

Spring Home Tours & Preview

Hey everyone! Spring has sprung for us here in SE Texas and I have to say part of me feels a tad bit guilty since I know there are many of you still dealing with snow storms. Here's hoping Old Man Winter will go away soon and beautiful weather will be had for all.

French Farmhouse Style Fall Dining Room 2017

Welcome everyone! I am excited to share with y'all our first fall dining room here at the new house.
French Farmhouse Style Fall Dining Room-Basket of Sunflowers-Tablesetting with Pumpkins-From My Front Porch To Yours
Last year we were in the middle of moving in thus there was no time for fall decorating. To be honest I had not planned to decorate the dining this year either since I waited so late. I was already planning Christmas but while I was working on the fall front porch some of the items I didn't use ended up collecting in the dining room. One thing led to another during my night owl hours and with just a few simple items I was able to transform the space fairly quickly.

***We are one week away from closing on our new home and I can not wait to get back to sharing projects and decorating with y'all! Till then I thought that I would share my fall mantel from last year again. I think this is my most favorite fall mantel I have designed.***
Happy October first everyone! October is bringing in our first fall like temps this weekend with a few nights expected to be in the upper 50s. We can not wait! In celebration of October and cooler temps I wanted to kick off the season by sharing our fall mantel.

Updated French Farmhouse Breakfast Nook

Hey everyone! I know it has been awhile since I last posted but we have something huge that Mr. Front Porch and I are working on. We do not want to share the details just yet but soon I promise. It has evolved a ton of prep work that I am still not completed with but I am getting closer. I decided to take little break from all the madness and snap some pics of our breakfast nook makeover. I soon will be sharing our stair reno as well! Yes after two years we finally completed it and I can not wait to share it.
I digress so back to the breakfast nook makeover!:)

Farmhouse Guest Bathroom

I have a list of projects I want to complete for 2016. One I completed last night but I need to finish putting away the Christmas decor so I can take pics for the reveal.

Till then I thought that I would revisit a project that Mr. Front Porch and I completed four years ago. For some reason the post of the reveal no longer shows the pictures and I have been meaning to make up for that. Plus I have new followers that probably have not gone back that far in my posts so it will be like a new reveal for most!;)

Christmas Kitchen Thru The Years

Our Christmas kitchen is always a fun place. The kitchen is a space I actually did not start decorating for Christmas until 2013. The Christmas kitchen is where a ton of Christmas magic happens from hot cocoa to baking Santa cookies on Christmas Eve.
