At the beginning of the month I shared my new bread makers cabinet that Mr. Front Porch bought me for Christmas. |
I was super excited to deck it out for the holidays but as I was starting to fill it up I decided that it needed something "more". |
In comes this Peel & Stick wallpaper that I ordered off of Amazon. I used a different pattern on our fireplace surround not too long ago and loved how it came out so I figured I would give it a go for the back of the cabinet. |
I was not sure how realistic the faux tin would look but surprisingly enough it looked amazing! |
Next I figured out exactly where I wanted the template to fall on the faux tin pattern. |
Then I traced the pattern lightly using a pencil. The pencil wiped right off. Then I just cut the pattern out. |
I did not need any extra tools to apply it. I just smoothed it out with my hands. You can use a credit card or something to help smooth the air bubbles out if you have any. |
Here is the bottom shelf completed. |
I just love what you did with the peel and stick! It looks just perfect!
