| I finally finished up decorating in the kitchen so I am here today to share with you all the second part of our Christmas Kitchen, the breakfast nook. I shared Part one a few weeks back. |

| Time is flying by and I am still busy decking the halls. If I would learn to stop flitting from one room to the next I would be done. Lesson learned for next year...maybe!;) Since the last party I have been busy sharing our Christmas Winter Wonderland Porch, a few changes in our guest hallway, our Christmas Village, and my holiday dress form. If you missed any of the posts I would love for ya to stop by and visit. This weeks highlights are a few more than normal but I just could not help myself! |

| For years I loved the idea of having a Christmas Village but we just do not have the space for it. I only ever thought of them in large displays. |

| Happy December everyone! Time slipped away from me today between decking the halls and homework but the party is up now. I have to say this time of year is my most favorite time to party. I just love seeing every one's holiday home and projects. |

| I can not believe it is the official start of the holiday season! I am so excited to be sharing the first of our holiday home with you all today- our Christmas mantel. It was fun taking a look back thru the years at our mantel and this years I do not think will disappoint. |

| I wanted to pop in to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that you are enjoying the day with family and friends. We are busy watching the parade and stuffing our bellies of course. Today lets take a look back at how I have decorated our dining room for the holidays. In years past I have always been focused more on other areas of the home. One reason being the dining room just was not quiet how I wanted it to look but I finally was able to get the exact look I was wanting and thus it made it so much easier for me to deck the halls in there. |
I have been busy, busy, busy decking the halls around here. Have you started your decorating yet? I like to start early because it allows me to sit back and enjoy the entire month of December full of twinkling lights and less stress.  |

| Thanksgiving is fast approaching! Do you celebrate Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving or do you celebrate on another day? We always have had two separate ones for each side of the family. Last year we made Thanksgiving memories here at home in Texas. What are your plans? |

| Time got away from me today. I actually forgot what day it was but no fear I am here with THT!:) So how is the weather where you are? It has been dreadfully warm here and I for one can not wait for it to cool off and stay that way. |

| If you could see my house right now you would think a bomb went off. Between Fall still in the dining room and all the Christmas bins that are stacked around it is quite a site in here. I will be sharing our Thanksgiving dining room on Friday but till then I thought that I would share what I am up to right now. Our Christmas tree last year decided to start giving me fits a few days before the jolly man himself was to visit. I attempted to cut all the lights off after Christmas but it was too daunting of a task so the tree ended up at the curb. |
Can you believe it is November already!? I certainly can not. Time has gotten away from me in the past month and some things that I planned on doing just had to be let go.  |

Last month I shared with you all how I found an amazing vintage pie safe on the local classifieds site. I knew I had to at least go and look at it. As soon as I saw it I knew it was coming home with us.The owner did not know much about the piece other than it had belonged to her mother. I could only imagine the stories that it held. |

| After an awful week last week of not just me being sick but the entire family everyone is back at work and back at school! Now it is time to get down to business and get the house ready for holiday decorating which I have to admit I am pretty excited about. Are you ready to decorate for the holidays? |

| We have been fighting a bad chest cold around here this past week. It hit me pretty hard and I was down for most of the week. By the time Saturday came I was ready to DO something even though I was still not 100%. |

| I know I am late getting the party up so thank you for being patient! This week I have been battling bronchitis and the flu bug which equals no fun happening around here. |

| Thankfully before I got too bad I was able to share our fall dinning room earlier in the week. |

| Welcome to THT #223! Glad to have y'all stop by. Over the weekend we had some fabulous fall like temps with our nights dipping down into the upper 50s. Sadly the warmer temps are back and I am over these 90 degree days. It really makes it hard to get into the fall spirit when it still feel like summer. My heart and prayers go out to those who are dealing with the flooding on the East Coast. |
