Busy completing the holiday decorating around here. Spent 6 hours outside yesterday and can finally say that our porch is done! Now to the inside today. On Friday I shared some of our Christmas Village and a sneak peek at the dining room.
Since I am still busy decking the halls I thought that I would share a few pics from my many antiquing adventures back at home in Georgia when we went for Thanksgiving.
Mama and I always hit up our favorite spots and The Savvy Shopper was one of mine this time. Would have loved to have brought home this couch! |
This booth had a lot of market pieces. I actually bought two things in this pic. Pretty sure you won't be able to guess what. Hint I actually saw them on Fixer Upper this past week. |
Gorgeous distressed hutch. |
I am a sucker for a good chandy! |
I was trying to figure out how to bring this baby home with me. It was the best price I had seen anywhere. |
This booth had a cool Apartment for Rent enamel sign I wanted. |
Love this green dresser.
Super easy centerpiece idea. |
Saw this beautiful transferware at Romantic Farmhouse in Augusta. After leaving Mama's house we traveled up to Atlanta. Of course that means I had to hit up some of my favorite shops up there as well. |
Nana and I headed to The Queen of Hearts for a few hours. I never miss stopping there. I loved this booth. It was full of vintage Christmas. |
Vintage blow mold soldiers. I picked up a few treasures that I will be sharing in the not too distant future. |
Speaking of treasures do not forget to head on over and enter to win this vintage dressmakers form! Giveaway closes tonight at 11:59 Central time tonight. |
I need to visit your favorites! These places look awesome!

They are not far from ya Debbie!
DeleteAfter reading this post, the only thing I could think was "I want to go shopping with you!" Love the different prints on that little couch. I'm thinking of recovering an old wing chair and I think I will try to copy that look, just not in yellow. That particular shade of yellow did make me think I should reconsider my dislike of yellow though, if only briefly. Thanks for taking us with you on your shopping trips.
ReplyDeleteYes, shopping would be so much fun!:)
DeleteGosh, love the mora clocks and the cute soldiers. Wish this was closer.
ReplyDeleteThe soldiers are by your house Kim.
DeleteWhat a wonderful shop Pamela. I bet you had the best time. I would have wanted that couch and clock too. Gosh why can't they make suit cases big enough lol! Have a great new week.

I kept trying to figure out how to get the clock home. It was the best price I had seen anywhere on it.
DeleteThe COW paintings...LUV!! And the sheep head. I've resigned myself to the fact being a shepherd of real sheep is now over but I don't have to like it. I hope someone guesses what you saw 'cause I don't have subscription t.v. and haven't a clue.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteHi Pamela,
ReplyDeleteOhh, you've found some major treasures!! Love the sheep's head, Swedish grandfather clocks, and of course that wonderful dress form. Wish I could transport myself from New England to Atlanta right now, but of course, that would be trouble brewing ;)
Looking forward to seeing what you come home with!
Merry Christmas to you!
