Hallway, Clock, & Light Makeover

I interrupt the continuous garage of holiday decorating with a project I completed over the weekend. It was something that I wanted to get done before decorating the breakfast nook for the holidays. 

This is the little hallway from our breakfast nook in to the guest bedroom. I redid it a few years back to look like this. I loved the look but was ready for a change. 

I started this later in the evening and only after the thought took pics with phone. I decided to take down the reclaimed wood topper so Mr. Front Porch and I could create a more finished topper. I also wanted to replace the light.

Here is the light that I purchased for the space. It is part of the Allen + Roth line at Lowes. It was the perfect size and of course had some bling to it but I needed it to match the light fixtures in the breakfast nook/kitchen since you can see the hallway from there.

30 minutes later and some chalk paint magic this is what I came up with. Matches the other lighting perfectly now!

Here is the new light and its beautiful glow. See the clock off to the side? Well that clock I had started on awhile back and just never shared the reveal so you are getting three reveals in one today!:)

I love how it all came together and I can not wait to decorate this space for the holidays along with the breakfast nook.
