Christmas Mantel Thru The Years

I have been busy, busy, busy decking the halls around here. Have you started your decorating  yet? I like to start early because it allows me to sit back and enjoy the entire month of December full of twinkling lights and less stress.

So far I have our Christmas mantel 98% completed and I can not wait to share it with you all. Here is a little sneak peek! Some of you may recognize the tree. It has been a popular item in years past when I have shared our Christmas kitchen.

Since I am not quite ready to share the mantel just yet I thought it would be fun to go back and look at our Christmas mantel thru the years. Be sure to click on the year at the bottom of each pic so you can see the mantels up close.

I have to say that I honestly can not pick a favorite mantel. I have loved each and every one of them. It is fun to see how much our fireplace has evolved over the years. Do you have a favorite mantel?

Be sure to stop back by on December 1 to see how our Christmas Mantel this year turned out!

  4. Your mantels are all so pretty! It is really hard to choose a favorite! I think I would say 2011 is my favorite, mainly because it has the most stuff around it! But really, they are all so nice you should be happy with them all!

  5. You are SO creative, Pamela! You have done up that mirror over your mantel in so many wonderful ways!! I can't wait to see how you do it this year. My mantel is the focus point in my living room so I really fuss with it.

    Happy Weekend!

  8. Did you make the stockings? If so I would like to purchase them. If you do them to sell, of course.
