Christmas Mantel 2012

Welcome to our Christmas Mantel 2012! I pretty much keep the same decor every year but change things up a little by adding a few new pieces. You can click here for our Christmas Mantel 2011.
The boys were wanting new ones this year but The Hubster and I are kinda stuck on tradition since we had the same stocking every year when growing up.
I brought back out my Cracker Barrel Nutcrackers.
This year the elves have joined in with the decorating.
I had been wanting a fairy ladder for ever it seems so when I saw this back at Thanksgiving at an antique shop I had to bring it home. I know it is not an antique but it works perfectly for what I wanted it for.

Other than the fairy ladder everything else on the mantle staid pretty much the same.

This is my moms sled from when she was a child.

So there ya have our Christmas Mantel 2012!

  3. Why mess with perfection! It's super cute Pam. Love the little fairy "ladder" and the twinkle trees and frames are my favorite. I love the hearth :)))

  4. Just lovely, Pamela! I know what you mean about the stockings. I keep lusting after some new ones, but I cross stitched our names in our quilted stockings many years ago and it's hard to just push them aside for new ones. Love the little ladder. I bought one new quite awhile ago, although it is probably considered "vintage" now! I love how you added your Mark Roberts fairies in.

  5. Very pretty, Pamela...the mantel is just perfect with the garland swag. Everything is colorful and festive! We've had the same stockings since my kids were little and when I suggested we pick out some new ones, they looked shocked! lol!

    Happy Holidays!

    XO,
    Jane

  10. Your mantel is beautiful. I struggle with keeping the same stockings, too! But tradition wins out every year (so far).
