Decking The Halls

I hope that everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving! We staid at home and enjoyed a quiet day. Not really much different from our normal Thanksgiving to be honest. I know that for some of you this year may have looked completely different but I hope that everyone found some joy in the day. 

With Thanksgiving behind us it is time for decking the halls. I started a few weeks ago and have been dragging my feet to finish. 

I am determined to finish most of it today though!

Front Door Project

Have y'all been going stir crazy as well? I am normally a homebody but the fact that I can not go somewhere has me wanting to go every where!:) I have been behaving though and coming up with little projects to keep me busy.

A Valentines Day Porch-Love Is In The Air

I am still here. Sorry I have not been blogging since before Christmas. My computer started crashing and I have yet to decide on a new one. I hate to spend the money but I know a new one is inevitable. I have a few Christmas vignettes I did not get to share so I guess I will be saving them for Christmas in July!:)  

Porch Ceiling Makeover-Haint Blue Porch Ceiling

A few weekends back we went to the store to pick out a new ceiling fan for Mr. Front Porch's office. His ceiling fan was broken and since his office was getting a makeover it was time to replace it. While we were picking out a new fan for the office we also picked up two fans for the front porch. That started our porch ceiling makeover.

Welcome everyone! I am so excited to share with y'all our fall porch for 2017. This is the first year in our new home that I have had a chance to go all out. We closed at the very end of Oct last year so decorating was not on the priority list.

Fall is technically upon us now though it certainly does not feel like it. I have been wanting to decorate/nest like you would not believe! Fall and the holidays are my most favorite time of year and it was killing me to know that all of my fall decor is in storage. Farmhouse Back Porch

I have shared a ton about our front porch and well our back porch was/is feeling slightly neglected to say the least. I have not quite figured out what I want to do with the space just yet but recently I did decided to spruce up the backdoor area.

Farmhouse Patriotic Summer Front Porch-Memorial Day Thru July 4th

Happy Summer y'all! Summer officially begins for us on Thursday and trust me when I say we can NOT wait. Over the weekend I worked on our patriotic front porch that will last us thru July 4th. I can not tell y'all how much I enjoy having a front porch! It is so much fun decorating it for the different holidays/seasons.

DIY Porch Pillows for less than $35

With the weather being so nice I have been focusing on the outside of our home. I was wanting to change up the front porch some more with fresh pillows. The cost of pillows is crazy expensive at least the ones I want. LOL.
