Happy Summer y'all! Summer officially begins for us on Thursday and trust me when I say we can NOT wait. Over the weekend I worked on our patriotic front porch that will last us thru July 4th. I can not tell y'all how much I enjoy having a front porch! It is so much fun decorating it for the different holidays/seasons.
Wreath I purchased from Grandin Road and the wood sign is from Hobby Lobby. |
Swing I purchased last year when we signed on to build. It is from Grandin Road. Yes, I love Grandin Road!;) |
Rocking chairs are from Grandin Road. |
I made the hydrangea basket to mirror the hydrangea wreath on the other side of the porch. |
Pillows I shared in a recent post. If you missed it click here to see how I made them. |
I think maybe next year I will talk Mr. Front Porch into climbing the ladder so I can place some bunting above the top windows. This year he grumbled a little too much so I can wait!;) |
I hope that you enjoyed your visit today! Here's to a fabulous summer. Sharing at these wonderful blogs: Savvy Southern Style |

Thank you much Paige!
DeleteYou sure have a gorgeous home, both inside and out. Takes a lot of attention to detail and upkeep but well worth having such a gorgeous home. Looks like you have a big lot or some acreage, such a pretty area. Your porch looks so festive, did wonderful job on it. Fun to decorate for curb appeal, stand back to enjoy your labors.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy rest of week
I hope that you enjoy the rest of your week as well! You are always so sweet to stop by to visit and comment. We have a medium size lot. Larger than our last house at just under 13,000 sq ft. We look like we have acreage because our home is situated next to the nature reserve. We have reserve to one side of our house and in the back. Then we have al to next door to us that has not been sold yet but we are enjoying it till it does.
