I decided to srart on my fall decorating. This years decor is a lot of DIY. I made three new wreaths for the porch which I will share in an upcoming post. I also did a LOT of painting.
Those that have been following along for many years may remember back in 2014 when I decided to chalk paint some cheap pumpkins. I did a tutorial for everyone. It was before chalk painting pumpkins was the "in thing" to do. Fast forward 5 years later and I have been busy chalk painting pumpkins like nobody's business. |
I purchased three of these polyresin pumpkins from TJ Maxx the other week. They were just $5 a piece. I loved the color and thought they would be perfect but once I got them home they were too turquoise. I remembered that I had the perfect blue/gray chalk paint from many many moons ago that I savedonly for special projects. |
I had to add a little water to the paint since it had been years since I had opened it but it worked like a charm and came out the exact color I was needing. |
Beautiful!!
