Backyard Garden Makeover

Our backyard was a blank slate after we moved in. The first summer we lived here we planted several Crepe Myrtle Trees and an Oak tree to line the back of our yard. The following autumn we added the archway and picket fence.

It was always our intention to connect the individual flower beds to make them larger. With all the time on my hands and the beautiful weather we had in the spring I got busy transforming this small area.

Last year we were excited to see that after the builder cleared our lot we were left with a beautiful oak tree in our backyard.
