Breakfast Nook Fall Cabinet Vignettes

We spent last Sunday working out in the garage. I had multiple boxes of home decor that was still boxed up from our move...almost three years ago. In all honesty most of the boxes were filled with dinnerware that I had packed extra well so there was not all that much in each box. Neighbors walked by asking if we were getting ready for a yard sale. LOL. Nope just unpacking from the move. :)

There were a few boxes of fall decor items that I forgot I had like this precious vintage inspired pumpkin patch sign. I decided to replace the original ribbon with blue and white buffalo check fabric I had on hand.

My favorite colors have always been blue and green. They play so well together and thus you will find those colors thru out our home. I had more green in our last home. This home there is more blue but I have had a crush on vintage jadeite for some time. It is however quite pricey so I have been collecting The Pioneer Woman's inspired jadeite pieces. I thought that they would make a nice addition to the fall decor and for Christmas. I have almost all the pieces but I am still on the hunt for the pepper grinder, spice shaker, salt & pepper shakers, and I need to get the dinner and salad plates. Thankfully they are all sold separately so it enables me to get a few pieces here and there over time.

These miniature velvet pumpkins make me smile. I found them at Hobby Lobby in the fall crafts section. They were just $1.25 for a four pack on sale so how could I resist!

This pumpkin pie recipe pumpkin was the first fall item I purchased back in August when it was still 100 degrees outside. I knew I had to have it when I saw it. It is just too cute!

I needed to keep out items that we use everyday so I figured the blue would play nicely with the jadeite and turkey dinnerware.

I purchased the turkey transferware years ago from HomeGoods. The vintage inspired Happy Harvest sign is from Hobby Lobby.

Why it's Matilda! She is on her way home from shopping so she can greet her fall guests. I am a sucker for touches of whimsy around our home and just love little wool mice! It is a bonus that they are the perfect size to take up residence in the doll house.

    1. Certainly not an English Major!;) You are not the first to tell me I should think about a book. I am not sure though that I would enjoy it or that it would be very popular. You too sweet though!

    1. Thank you Debra! Yea, I should have been out there plenty of times before but it just gets too hot most of the time. One day we will have it insulated and put in AC then I can really have a blast out there.
