The past few days have been overcast so it was hard to take really good pics but I figured I would just go ahead and share.

I was not sure I was going to get around to decking the halls in the foyer but I am glad that I took some time to focus on it. |

If you follow along with me on Istagram you know the story behind this little tree. |

I was having lighting issues with the top portion of the tree. Instead of messing around with it I just decided to take it off and put a holiday spray in it's place. |

It worked out perfectly because with the top the tree was taller than I was wanting for this space. |

My beloved Hearth & Hand doll house. If you remember it was part of our Christmas mantel last year. |

I enjoy having it in the foyer now. |

Hi Jean. Thanks for stopping by and visiting. The sheep I ordered from Zulilly last year. I wish I remembered who it is made by but sadly I do not.

DeleteThe PERFECT farmhouse Christmas foyer. It is so beautiful
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Donna. Happy Holidays!
DeleteYour post brought back sweet memories. When my daughter was 6, I built her a dollhouse from a kit. The dollhouse sat on a truck in the living room facing toward the street. She played daily with her dollhouse and decorated it for all the holidays. One day I was introduced to a woman in our neighborhood. When I described where I lived she said, "oh, you live in the dollhouse home".
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful memory to have! I can vision it in my mind.
DeleteYour doll house is charming and a perfect addition to the holiday decor in your entry! Your solution to the lighting problem to the top of your tree is perfect— you would never guess that the top isn’t original to the tree. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
