I feel ahead of the game this year in sharing our holiday home. I honestly end up waiting till the very last minute to snap pics because I am still fussing around with things. Not this year! So come on in and see our Christmas mantel and living room for 2017!

I was not quite sure what I was going to do for our mantel this year. I really loved how last years mantel turned out but I was running out of ideas. That was until I received something I wanted in the mail.

If you are a Fixer Upper fan I am sure you have already heard all about Joanna's Hearth & Hand line that was released at Target. A lot of fans were going crazy over the line and for me there was just one thing I HAD to have and it was the doll house. I am a kid at heart!:)

As soon as it arrived and I put it together I knew that it was the perfect piece for the Christmas mantel this year.

It is a tad bit deeper than our mantel so we made a topper for the mantel to prevent the doll house from tipping off. After the holidays I can just take the topper off.

I have fairy lights inside the house that come on on a timer. I will have to take a picture in evening once they come on for y'all to see its magic.
