One of the first spaces I decked the halls in was our master bedroom. I have always wanted to have a tree in our bedroom. |

My favorite tree of all time! I have a post coming up to share how I was able to keep it standing up in the cement garden container it is in. |

The tree is so beautiful with just lights on it that I did not want to decorate it. |

I am still working on the master bedroom makeover and it will involve hanging the mantel on the wall and adding tin to the space under it. |

My little sidekick who begged to help me out but then refused to look at me. |

Next year I will be adding even more Christmas cheer to this space but till then we are enjoying the scenery. Sharing at these wonderful blogs: Savvy Southern Style French Country Cottage Shabby FuFu A Stroll Thru Life Between Naps on The Porch |
Your tree is just perfect in that space. I would put a tree in every room if I had the space. Your antique mantel is also fantastic. Thanks for sharing your lovely Christmas master bedroom.
ReplyDeleteThank you sweetie! It took a few years to find a mantel but we never had a place for one till now so it all worked out. Happy Holidays!
DeleteOh, gosh! I just love that tree and I wouldn't put any decorations on it either! Your mantel looks fabulous and is a great addition to your bedroom!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Jane! I hope that you and Leo have a fabulous Christmas my friend! I can not wait to see more of your holiday decor.
DeleteYour dog! So funny. My dog doesn't like her picture taken either. Your mantel is amazing and that tree is wonderful! I love this post.
ReplyDeleteShe is certainly a diva all day every day!LOL. Never leaves my side except to get into some mischief every now and then. Merry Christmas Katie!
DeleteI love your tree! Where did you find it? And, I’m glad to see the Lady again standing by your fireplace. Love your blog. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThanks Patricia! My tree came from Grandin Road a few years back. They still carry it but it is sold out.
DeleteYour bedroom looks amazing! What fun that you received your mantel as an early present. You've done an amazing job on it and I look forward to seeing how you hang it on the wall. I'm sure the bedroom on the house we're building is too small for a fireplace mantel but this does have me trying to figure out how to ditch one of our dressers, probably the hub's! Or creating a fireplace mantel dresser perhaps? Hmmm. . . Merry Christmas Pamela!
ReplyDeleteThanks you Patricia. We have a large walk in closet that holds both of our dressers. Otherwise we would not have had room for the mantel. Come Spring I am hoping to find a nice comfy chair for by the mantel. Merry Christmas to you as well!
DeleteThis is beautiful Pamela. I love the added mantel and oh, that Santos doll. Love that. Great idea putting the tree in that pot. I have a tree in the master this year, too.
ReplyDeleteI just got your feed in my email for the first time in ages. Got a bunch of others, too. I hope feedburner keeps working.
Thank you Kim! The pot came after I couldn't find the base to the tree. LOL. Gotta think outside of the box sometimes. Yes, let's hope Feedburner continues to work. I have people messaging me all the time saying they are not getting my updates.
DeletePam, everything is beautiful as always! I have a dachshund as well. They can be quite stubborn when they want to be. Mine pretty much runs the house. May I ask, where did you get the mantel?? I have been wanting one for awhile.
DeleteI'd love to know where you got your tree. It is adorable!!
ReplyDeleteHey Christi! The tree is from Grandin Road. I ordered it a few years back. They still carry it but it is currently sold out.
DeletePamela, you have created magic on that wall. I love the tree, mantel, and of course, the Santos! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Pam!
DeleteIt looks beautiful Pamela! Love the tree and your mantel. My assistant does the same thing most times when I try to take his picture. It's so funny how they do that.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kristi! Yes, some days she hams it up for me and others like when I want her to she refuses. Oh well. She is still a cutie patootie!
DeletePamela your bedroom just sparkles with the Christmas spirit! Love love your mantle.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Jo
