French Country Farmhouse Christmas Bedroom

French Country- Farmhouse -Christmas Bedroom-Christmas Tree-From My Front Porch To Yours
I am so excited to be sharing the first of our holiday home with y'all! Last year at this time I was still busy unpacking and had most of holiday still in storage. This year I was able to go all out compared to last year.

One of the first spaces I decked the halls in was our master bedroom. I have always wanted to have a tree in our bedroom.

Here at the new house we not only have room for a tree but also a vintage fireplace mantel that I made over. It was an early Christmas present from Mr. Front Porch. I will share the Before & After photos  of the mantel after Christmas.

My favorite tree of all time! I have a post coming up to share how I was able to keep it standing up in the cement garden container it is in.

The tree is so beautiful with just lights on it that I did not want to decorate it.

I am still working on the master bedroom makeover and it will involve hanging the mantel on the wall and adding tin to the space under it.

Next year I will be adding even more Christmas cheer to this space but till then we are enjoying the scenery.

  1. Your tree is just perfect in that space. I would put a tree in every room if I had the space. Your antique mantel is also fantastic. Thanks for sharing your lovely Christmas master bedroom.

  5. Your bedroom looks amazing! What fun that you received your mantel as an early present. You've done an amazing job on it and I look forward to seeing how you hang it on the wall. I'm sure the bedroom on the house we're building is too small for a fireplace mantel but this does have me trying to figure out how to ditch one of our dressers, probably the hub's! Or creating a fireplace mantel dresser perhaps? Hmmm. . . Merry Christmas Pamela!

    1. Thanks you Patricia. We have a large walk in closet that holds both of our dressers. Otherwise we would not have had room for the mantel. Come Spring I am hoping to find a nice comfy chair for by the mantel. Merry Christmas to you as well!

    1. Thank you Kim! The pot came after I couldn't find the base to the tree. LOL. Gotta think outside of the box sometimes. Yes, let's hope Feedburner continues to work. I have people messaging me all the time saying they are not getting my updates.

    2. Pam, everything is beautiful as always! I have a dachshund as well. They can be quite stubborn when they want to be. Mine pretty much runs the house. May I ask, where did you get the mantel?? I have been wanting one for awhile.

  9. It looks beautiful Pamela! Love the tree and your mantel. My assistant does the same thing most times when I try to take his picture. It's so funny how they do that.
