Our Christmas tree changes every year and though it changes I always try to use some of the same elements. You can see each of our trees from 2010-2014 in this post. Our 2015 tree can be seen here and it is actually the same tree I have up in our master bedroom this year. Our tree last year was a new one. I had fun using all the bottle brush trees on it. |
The past few days it has been overcast, cold and rainy making for wonderful Christmas weather but terrible for trying to take pics. I used white lights as well as a few strands of red and green. |
I used the same ric rac ribbon from last year plus jingle bell ribbon from our 2015 tree. This year I added red bead garland. |
I purchased some new vintage inspired ornaments from Cracker Barrel. I immediately fell in love with this holly one. |
I also brought home some mercury glass ornaments from there as well. |
Speaking of Cracker Barrel ornaments I used my vintage inspired snowflake ornaments from a few years back that I also purchased at CB. I just love Cracker Barrel during the holidays! Don't you? |
Stick star came from the Dollar Spot at Target. I think that was last year but may have been the year before. |
My favorite little Christmas pillow. |
Santa is always watching so you better be good!:) |
This little lady says check back soon. I will be sharing our Christmas mantel next and you do not want to miss it! I will give you a hint-I used something from the Hearth & Hand line at Target to create it. Happy Holidays, my friend!
Oh Pamela....the tree is so beautiful as it always is from year to year. Love seeing the rid arc ribbon again and what a great idea to use the top of a discarded tree!!! Oh my I could have had lots of small trees from the ones I discarded...Looking forward to your mantel...Have a Very Merry Weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, Pamela. What a cozy space and miss Savannah has the right idea.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely Pamela!
ReplyDeleteI just love icicles on a tree. I always had them until I went to an artificial tree. They really bring back lots of great Christmas memories. Have a very Merry Christmas. Jo
