Hello everyone! I hope that y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It has taken awhile but we are finally getting back to normal everyday life and things are coming together around the new house. I won't lie it has all been more than a tad overwhelming at times but as we check off things from our to-do list I feel so much better.
Today I am sharing an update, well actually kinda two updates with our breakfast nook. This pic was taken on closing day back at the end of October. |
Back to the lighting,Mr. Front Porch has been a good sport because over the Thanksgiving break we changed out light after light after light in the new house. |
This was one of the first lights that I had purchased back in the spring. I loved how it looked when we hung it up. Then I started decorating for Christmas and decided that the candelabra sleeves were too plain. If you remember last year around this time I jazzed up our kitchen sink chandy by updating the candelabra sleeves with a quick DIY. I could have completed the same project this time around but honestly I did not have the time for that. If you missed that make over or just want to see it again click here. |
Since I was not taking the time to DIY I ended up ordering some new sleeves off of Amazon. |
I am so pleased with how they look! |
I know it is hard to tell with the lighting but trust me when I say it gives new life to the chandelier. Such an easy update! As you can see I have Christmas happening in here and hope to get it completed this week and will share. Then y'all can see the chandelier in the daylight. Thank you for continuing to follow along with me on our journey this year. It has been a long year and I know that I have not been around as much but I promise in the new year I will be back to sharing up a storm! Did I mention I have a to-do list!?;) Do not forget to keep checking back for my holiday decorating posts! They are coming soon I promise!
