Tuesday is picture day! I tell ya getting a house ready to sell is not for the faint of heart. From the experience what I have
learned is that I am more of a minimalist than I thought so with that being said not as much will be coming into the new house. Second thing I learned is that I drag my feet way too long on projects hemming and hawing on exactly what I want to do instead of just doing it. I have thrown together several rooms that I just love and wish that I had completed them a long time ago so that we could have enjoyed them. So take it from me, if you are questioning a room makeover just do it! Do not drag your feet like I did.
One of the recently updated rooms is my sewing/craft room better known as our fourth bedroom. I started making it over about 5 years ago. Yes, I said 5 years ago and never competed it. I got wrapped up in painting furniture, opening a small booth, and then Littlest mentioned that he might want his own bedroom so that halted any plans to go further with the space.

The chair is painted with Duck Egg Chalk Paint. One of my favorite colors! I loved having the desk in front of the windows because I could watch everything out in front of our home. |

The hutch that I painted to match the curtains. On it's own it is a tad on the loud side but when you see it with the curtains you understand the color. You can see what the cabinet looked like before here. |

The knobs are some of my favorite. I have to say I love how it turned out. I told Littlest that if we end up staying he will have to share a bedroom with his brother forever because I won't be giving up my space!;) I have other rooms to share so be sure to stop back by and visit. If you missed it I shared one of the homes we visited on our house hunt. |
Very pretty! I love the way you hung the curtain panels. Fingers crossed your home sells very quickly :o) Can't wait to see your new one!!!!

Hoping you have a quick sale and don't have to keep everything picture perfect for too long. We're thinking of selling and I dread all the downsizing involved. Seems it would be easier to move into an apartment and leave the house with minimal furniture while it's being shown.
