French Chandeliers

I have a thing for French Chandeliers. They make my heart go pitter pat. Thru the years I have slowly been adding some French inspired chandeliers to spaces in our home.

Our dining room chandelier is the one that started it all. I love the finish on it and of course the bling that I added.

I wanted to bring the same feel to our kitchen lighting so not too long ago I made over the mini chandelier in our kitchen that hangs over our sink.

I then decided that the breakfast nook chandelier needed changing up as well. I opted to not make this one over again. It originally was gold. I decided to shop around for a new breakfast nook chandelier. This one though is being hoarded in our attic!;)

In comes our new French inspired breakfast nook chandelier.

It has the exact same finish as our dining room chandelier. I just love the toppers on the crystal droplets.

I of course can not ever leave a chandelier alone. I added my own special touch with vintage lamp parts around each candelabra. I love these things. I had just enough for all three of the chandeliers.

I really love how the chandelier feels in the space. Speaking of which the chandelier is only part 2 of the changes that happened in this space. If you all remember it all started back in the fall when I brought home a vintage pie safe. Stay tuned for the new farmhouse table!

  2. These are all gorgeous, Pamela! I can't even pick a favorite. I love a chandy in an unexpected place...like a kitchen. My guy doesn't. I have one in our den and he still thinks it's wrong, wrong, wrong! :(

    1. That is funny Jane!:) Mine gave up the fight a long time ago. I even have one in our laundry room. If I could live without a ceiling fan I would put one in our master bedroom. Thank you for always visiting and commenting my friend!

  3. Love it! I want to put one in my bedroom but like you not sure if we would miss the ceiling fan even though we never use it. I have two brass chandys in the attic that sure could use a makeover. I really like the new round one you have in the breakfast nook and that one in the first picture. Both are very nice!
