The spring time weather is upon us here inSE Texas so that meant it was time to start sprucing up the front porch.
Today I am going to share how I made a super quick and easy Easter wreath for our front door. |
I found this beautiful egg wrath at Target and it jumped straight in my cart. It was missing something though to make it really pop. |
I decided that the grapevine wreath was exactly what it needed to give it a more dimensional look. |
My favorite tools for wrath making are my trusty pliers and florist wire. |
All I did was attach the egg wreath to the grapevine wreath and twisted the wire closed. |
Next up this was little moss bunny that I found in the Target bargain section for just $3. All I did was sit him in the middle of the combined wreaths. |
This is how it all turned out. I think I may add some little wild flowers around it in blue possibly but for now it works. Only took me 10 minutes if that to put it together. |
Since the wreath is made I am busy trying to get the rest of the porch set up. I am hemming and hawing over this topiary. I purchased it from Grandin Road on Clearance and am trying to decide if it looks too much like a Christmas topiary or not. The base is a ceramic planter I purchased from Target. So what do you all think- Everyday topiary or Christmas Topiary? Sharing at these fabulous blogs: Savvy Southern Style |
