Welcome! So glad you stopped by! I have FINALLY finished up all of the holiday decorating around here which is a huge relief! Today I am going to share our tree. |
Here is our tree at night! Believe it or not she has 7 less strands of lights than usually! We use the standard white then I add in some twinkling white and then several strands of red, white, and green. I really wanted to put ALL of them on but they were getting too heavy for this tree and weighing down the branches. So there ya have our Christmas Tree for 2011! Hope your weekend is going well! Don't forget about the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Giveaway happening now and my First Annual Holiday Mantel Party! I am linking up to the following parties: 2805 SNS Thrifty Decor Chic |

ReplyDeleteThank you for taking part and linking to the Christmas Tree Party at 2805!
Oh it may have given you fits...but it is pretty...I like the quirky star!!
ReplyDeleteI adore your tree...and the beautiful room it resides in!
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks beautiful, Pamela. Hopefully it will hold out for you :) We used to use real trees until about five years ago when it toppled over just after hubby and I said goodnight to our guests and crawled into bed after midnight Christmas Eve. I had just drifted off when CRASH. I could here the ornaments twinkling and breaking from upstairs. Took us 2 hours to dry and rewrap presents and soak up the carpet, and we finally ended up back in bed after 2am. Since then it has been faux for us, but this year I was really tempted to have fresh. Maybe next year. Sorry for the long comment, but I am sympathizing with you on the tree woes ;) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour tree is beautiful but please be careful with the dryness, not trying to scare you but ... you know.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Mary
Your tree looks very pretty, Pamela; it has a great shape to it, too. I love the first picture of your whole room! It looks great, especially with the floors. : ) I knew you used those hook-like pieces for your draperies somewhere and I'm glad to see it was this room. I'm thinking of going a similar route in our sunroom, as there is no way I'm spending a lot of money for an extra long rod when stationery panels will work just fine.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful and your Christmas decorations are gorgeous. You have a great sense of style.
ReplyDeletePamela it looks so pretty! I love your living room, and the little bits of Christmas decor that I could see around the fireplace. I think the ribbon looks nice going down the tree...and I know what you mean about the tree topper not staying straight...I feel like mine never does either!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy holiday season,
Rachel :)
Your tree looks beautiful....I remember getting so frustrated with a tree years ago I threw it in the corner and whenever anyone came over I pretended it just fell over...lol so I understand when the tree won't drink and the lights won't work...I am a new follower see you again soon
ReplyDeletePamela, it is gorgeous and I am having the same problem. I hope it lasts two more weeks.
ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful! You must have been in Augusta GA over Thanksgiving. I was surprised when I googled CeCe Caldwell's Paint your blog came up, and to my surprise you had visited the Savvy Shopper the same as me, yesterday. I took some of the same photo's. Love that place. I too bought some of the paint, and am anxious to try it. Jackie
ReplyDeletemy tree is doing the same thing!

ReplyDeleteHave a merry Sunday.
I don't know how people afford to change up the look of their Christmas tree every year. I think yours looks great! Simple and fun is the way to go--we have enough stress this time of year! I' looking forward for your Christmas tree ideas this year. Happy Holidays!
