Out came the chalk paint. |
I used the dry brush method. Duck Egg was the main color and then I used Old White on the centers. |

I wanted to stop and say hi and thanks for following my blog. You tried the chalk paint...I haven't yet! If you are having trouble signing in to google...don't check the stayed in button...you shouldn't have anymore problems. Don't know why...
ReplyDeleteI really like the Duck Egg, Pamela. I think it's going to be between that and one of the greys for my next chalk paint purchase.
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty new look for your doors Pamela!! So pretty! Would love to try some of that paint- hear so much about it-

I am cracking up! I have a pair of shutters sitting on my mantel that I painted Duck Egg. There they sit and I was waiting for further inspiration and taadaa....YOU provided! I love Duck Egg...so funny that we had the same idea! Great minds.....LOL
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm wondering just how many colors of chalk paint you own! :)
ReplyDeleteThese turned out great!
I love the finish and colors you used! I would leave the spindles white as I think the contrast of those against the duck egg is what I love best!
