Hi, Front Porch readers. I am Linda from Coastal Charm. I can't believe that I am here sharing with all of you at "How I Found My Style"! Thanks Pamela for this amazing opportunity!
Welcome to COASTAL CHARM!!!
Coastal décor welcomes you as you enter.
I'm a DIYer, so you will find projects like this inexpensive wooden bowl makeover. Give me a paint brush and I will change it up in, in no time.
Last August, I went back to my white slip covered furniture in our family room. It had been in my cottage for years, but like I said earlier, I always like moving things around.
Adding different texture in your furniture, is a must in my book.
A good friend of mine had this charming "chippy painted" piece in her booth and when she put it on sale, I scooped it up! I like how it looks with this DIY framed coffee sack that I made about two years ago.
You can find ironstone in just about every room in our home.
Found this wonderful old gate while out junkin' in Texas and I have fun decorating it for the different holidays.
Another favorite item found while junkin', is this old "chippy paint" cabinet door. As you see, I love displaying pictures of my children throughout my home.
Add a little charm, everywhere you can.
My dining room furniture came from my in-laws twenty eight years ago, and they are still my favorite pieces in our home.
Yes...it all matches...but I love how my hubs can walk into this room and remember his wonderful parents in here.
I am always looking for unusual pieces, so when I spotted this shelf, I knew I had to have it.
Come on into our kitchen, where you will be greeted with a message on our huge chalk board.
I enjoy collecting old scales and using them around our home.
Old brick floors scream cottage style and I love how easy they are to keep clean.
Primitive pieces, like this old cupboard, can be found at Coastal Charm.
A unique way to display an old ironstone plate.
The day that I talk my hubs into removing the cabinets over the bar, will be one happy day for me.
Using old bed springs and creating a cross, just popped into my head one day. I guess thinking outside the box is my kinda thing.
More "chippy painted" pieces and ironstone.
My "vintage chic" style is also a very "lived in" style in our home.
A moo cow is fun to have around.
Fresh flowers from my yard, are a nice touch. I like to place them in urns, pitchers and even mason jars.
During the Fall and Spring seasons, this room is my favorite room.
Thank you so much Pamela for having me!
I hope you will stop by my blog and say hello.
