Today I am sharing our fun Halloween Tree. I do not normally decorate for Halloween per say. Thru out the years I will add a little touch of it here and there but never anything large scale. Not that I do not find plenty of cute Halloween decorations. I do! The problem is that with Halloween decor Christmas decor always comes out in stores as well and honestly Christmas decorations win out every time!!:) I have though grabbed a few things here and there over time. I went thru it all and decided that I had enough to create a fun Halloween Tree.
I have a few slender trees that I leave up all year because it is just easier than taking them down and dragging them upstairs of the garage. We have one up in our dining room which I decorated with fall which if you missed it you can click here and view our dining room fall tour. Then there is this one by our breakfast nook/living room.
It was a fairly inexpensive tree to put together. I used items I already had on hand like this pumpkin sign I purchased last year from WalMart. They actually have the same sign again this year. I also purchased a few small inexpensive items this year. The apple picks are from Joann's. The black and white wood bead garland is from HobbyLobby.
I made some fun mini candy apple ornaments.
These adorable mini pumpkin buckets I have held onto for many years. I purchased them back 2008 from the Target Dollar Spot. I think the bag said they were $3 for a bag of 6. Too too cute!
Next up are these cinnamon whisks that made for perfect mini witch brooms. Next year I may add handles to them. They were just .99 cents each at Trader Joe's. I think I purchased around 10 of them. They make the house smell so yummy!
While out browsing a local home decor shop I found these cute Bethany Lowe Halloween owl ornaments. They were just $2.50 a piece I believe so I purchased a few of them. The little witch cauldrons are from Walmart last year. They were just .75 each I believe. The witch legs also came from Walmart and were $3 a piece.
I have had the stacked pumpkins for years now and actually forgot about them till just a few days ago when I stumbled upon them out in the garage looking for something. My utmost favorite Halloween decoration is this candy corn blowmold candle! It is a new addition this year. Y'all may remember my candy cane ones from last year that I used for our Christmas mantel. They are made by Raz Imports. I found this one on Amazon. I hunted for the best price.
This tree was so fun to create and I look forward to adding to it next year!
Speaking of trees, every year I get asked where do I find our Christmas Trees. I decided that this year I was going to share with y'all my sources and some trees that have just caught my eye so be sure to come back and visit if you are in the market for a new Christmas Tree! I am hoping to have that post up tomorrow or the next day.
Thanx for stopping by to visit!
Oh Pam your Halloween tree is so darn cute. I love it! Halloween is coming so fast. Have a great week. xoxo Kris
