I know a lot of us are gearing up to deck the halls so I decided that I would revisit some of my older holiday decor in the upcoming week. I know that not every one has been around from years past and would not necessarily think to go back 4-5 years to look for Christmas decorating inspiration. Today I am sharing one of my utmost favorite mantels from the 2014 holiday season. Included are also links to other fabulous blogs with inspiration all their own.

For our mantel I decided to carry on my French Farmhouse style but added some vintage touches as well. |
I used a similar frame to last years for the mantel focal point. |
Candy Cane stripes are a theme you will see thru out all our Christmas decor this year. |
A new addition this year are the red striped grain sack stockings. I just love them! I have four but you will have to wait to see where I used the other two!;) |
Of course I had to include my beautiful Santos Cage Doll. Since she has a soft bodice I had to attach her wings by using fishing lure. |
Another favorite addition is this vintage inspired wire brush tree sitting on top of my mama's childhood sled. I use her sled every year by the fireplace so this year was to be no different. The tree was a steal for only $12! Most of the vintage themed ornaments I purchased last year from Target after Christmas so they were a steal as well. |
I adore the pink and blue finial tree topper. |
Oldest and Littlest love the old farm truck filled with Christmas trees. |

Hope you enjoyed our Christmas mantel for 2014. Be sure to stop on by the other ladies on the blog hop for more wonderful Christmas inspiration! |
Fireplace is out of this world! SO charming!
