A friend from my old hood recently purchased a new home. It is a gorgeous home that the builder used as their model. The current lighting though beautiful was too frufru for them and she was looking for lighting that would make their new house feel like them, feel like their home and not a model home. I was more than happy to help out.
Here are a few of the options I came up with. Keep in mind the furnishings you see are the model home furnishings.
Group 1

I liked these together because they both have the wood element. |
Rustic Wood Basket Pendant- Shades of Light |
Metal & Wood Globe Chandelier- Shades of Light
Group 2
I kept with the wood theme with this grouping as well. I felt the wood adds a touch of masculinity that her husband would like. |
Venetucci Pendant- Bellacor |
Wadkins Chandelier- Birchlane |
The next two groupings are my most favorite pairings.
Group 3
Maniscalo Pendant- Joss & Main |
16 Light Candle Style Chandelier- Birchlane |
Group4
Feiss Cadence Pendant- Belllacor |
Square Wood Frame Chandelier- Shades Of Light |
Lighting is always a hard thing to pick out especially when you are choosing it for the most lived in areas of your home. It is ok to not know what you want right away. Just take your time and see how you use the space. When we built our house we had the builder just install the standard lighting. Slowly but surely I have been changing out the lighting and our house is now our home.
They're all super choices. My favorite is the third choice. Hope you let us know what they chose
