EDIT: Master Bath Makeover Reveal can be seen HERE. Hey everyone! Sorry I have been MIA. Since I last posted I had high hopes of having our master bath makeover completed by now but real life happened. Oldest is dealing with breathing issues and I ended up with my second bought of bronchitis this year. Ugh! No fun at all but thankfully we are on the mend. Since I am feeling better now I couldn't wait to get the bathroom party started. |
This is where I last left y'all. Wrong sized mirrors, Greige paint that wasn't Greige and numerous other things that just were not right. To see more Before pics you can click here. Today I am sharing some of my selections for the master bath and exactly where I am at with the makeover. |
The mirrors had to come down and when I found these online I knew they were the ones. Our master bed has an arch so I thought that I would continue the arch theme in the design of of the bathroom. |
As for paint color I went with Sherwin Williams Sea Salt. It was actually the color I was going to paint our previous master bath but opted not to. Instead I just used it as an accent color on the master bath doors. |
I ordered a set of crystal door knobs for our linen closet. I have dreams of changing out the entire house to these. A girl can dream! LOL. |
Speaking of crystal I am using the same crystal knobs in here that I used for our kitchen cabinets. Let ya in on a secret, I actually stole the knobs for our bathroom to use in the kitchen. |
I also chose these 6.5 inch handles. I think they will go nicely with the crystal knobs. |
Another thing that made me so happy was when I came across this arched cabinet while strolling the isles of HobbyLobby. As soon as I saw it I knew it had to come home with me for the bathroom! It will be getting a makeover all its own. I will be painting it white. Then I will be making the glass door look like an aged mirror. I did this to a clock a few years ago and it turned out really well. The legs unscrew so we will be building a base and then attaching it to the center wall to make it look built in. I think I am probably most excited to see how it turns out! |
I just love it when you change up a room! You have such vision. I love Sea Salt and still would like to use it somewhere in our house. It's just a perfect color. The accessories you've chosen are beautiful. We used the glass knobs on the cabinets and bathroom doors. They make a huge difference in the sparkle factor. :)
