Farmhouse Model Home Tour- Part 2

Texas Farmhouse-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
The farmhouse is approx 4000 sq ft I believe the sales person said.
Texas Farmhouse Porch-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
The huge front and back porch areas are amazing and what attack me most to this home.
Texas Farmhouse Porch-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
Outdoor living space at its finest.
Texas Farmhouse Foyer-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
As soon as you step inside the front door farmhouse charm abounds.
Texas Farmhouse Dining Room-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
This home had a combined, kitchen/dining/living room area as well but much larger than yesterdays farmhouse.
Texas Farmhouse Kitchen-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
Spacious kitchen that is fully customizable. They have the farmhouses set up to show you exactly what is included with the price. I had a ton of questions for this space like moving the sink from the island to under the windows. Taking the microwave down from above the stove. We were told we could also bring in a custom stove if we wanted as well as a custom island.
Texas Farmhouse Hutch-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
I liked the niche that was made for a kitchen hutch.
Texas Farmhouse Living Room-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
The wall closing in this home looked identical to our home now.
Texas Farmhouse Fireplace-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
The large fireplace sat up higher than I am use to. For us we would have to have it come down lower and also have it made of brick.
Rustic Storage Bin-Texas Farmhouse-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
Loved this rustic storage bin they had.
Texas Farmhouse Master Bedroom-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
The master bedroom was super charming. About the same size as what we have now.

Beadboard Ceiling-Texas Farmhouse-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
The biggest difference between the green farmhouse and the large farmhouse other than the size is that the large farmhouse is decked out with planking, wainscoting and supports in the ceiling.
Texas Farmhouse Planked Closet-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
Everywhere you looked there was planking. I loved that the pantry and the closets were planked. Some of the other planking I would have to scale down on personally. I love it but would be afraid that after a while I would get tired of it if it were on every single wall like this home. Or just have the bottom half of the walls done in some areas.
Texas Farmhouse Rustic Pine Floors-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
The rustic pine flooring was gorgeous!
Texas Farmhouse- Guest Bedroom-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
Loved this headboard in the guest bedroom. One of the things I would change if we were to build would be to bring the bottom portion wainscoting up higher on the wall.
Texas Farmhouse- Pine Stairs-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
Rustic pine stairs that I am trying to get Mr. Front Porch to agree to in our current home. Yes, that is a project we started last year and have yet to complete.
Texas Farmhouse-Planked Stairwell-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
I love the stairwell with the planking and bead board together. I need to figure out how to add it to our current home.
Texas Farmhouse-Red Side Table-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
This little red side table was pretty.
Texas Farmhouse-Rustic Doll House-RoundTop Texas-Trendmaker Homes-From My Front Porch To Yours
This pic is not the greatest but I had to show y'all the adorable rustic farmhouse doll house they had in the upstairs kids room. It was too cute!

So which farmhouse was your favorite- Green Farmhouse or Large Farmhouse? I personally liked the Green Farmhouse but it would have to be much larger to fit our needs. I think it was only 1800 sq ft. Both houses were amazing so I certainly could have fun customizing either one.

  1. I am with you and I would go with the green house on a larger scale. Thinking I might do some planking in our master bedroom makeover...thinking about doing the wall behind our bed.

    Blessings,
    Linda

  5. Both homes are beautiful but I prefer the green one. We have 1900 sq.ft. plus finished basement and I would actually like a smaller home. I really like the floors, the stairs and some of the board and ceiling details in this larger home but the kitchen and size of the other are more my style. Thanks for sharing homes that I would not have likely seen otherwise.

  6. Gorgeous! Love all the shiplap they used and the master bedroom is so inviting. The smaller one appeals to me more too.

  9. The home sure didn't look as if it was 4000 sq. ft. Looked much smaller. Maybe they just had too much stuff in it. Kind of looked cluttered and I think the made a HUGE mistake in the kitchen with the dark cabinets. The porches were gorgeous though!

  10. Loved both homes! Does the builder have a website with floor plans?

  11. Oh I love this one!! I want to add planking in our home too- or tear down the sheetrock that is hiding the shiplap (messy but much better)!! That little playhouse is awesome!!
