Easy DIY Moss Wreath

From My Front Porch To Yours- DIY Moss Wreath
I have been busy sprucing up our front porch for spring. It has taken a little while for me to get inspired but I finally did!

Recently we were in Target and I fell in love with this moss wreath. It is simply gorgeous but I did not feel like spending the money on it since I already had a ton of grapevine wreaths at home I could transform.

If you would like to make your own moss wreath all you need is one grapevine wreath, a can of spray adhesive, and a bag of moss. All items you can get at any craft store or even WalMart.

I chose to do this project outside because the spray adhesive is smelly and the moss is really messy. Make sure to protect your area from the spray adhesive. i just used a large trash bag.

Next up I placed moss every where I wanted it BEFORE I started glueing to make sure I liked the direction it was going. Then I started to glue the moss down.

You will want to glue some moss to the sides of your wreath and any other holes you may see. I sprayed the wreath itself and also the back of larger pieces of moss. The glue goes a LONG way so do not think you need to spray a ton on.

In the process you give yourself a moss manicure!;)

When you are all done glueing you will end up with a beautiful moss wreath like this.

I actually had enough moss to make two wreaths.
Tomorrow is Sunday and due to busy schedules I will not be doing "How I Found My Style Sundays". I know disappointing but it WILL be back next Sunday I promise! In the meantime still be sure to stop by tomorrow so you can see exactly what else I did with my moss wreaths and the reveal of my Spring front porch!

Hope your Saturday is going well!:)

  8. Love your moss wreaths, Pamela! They are crazy expensive to buy. I wouldn't have thought of using spray adhesive ~ that's a great tip (and you can save money on manicures too)! : )
