Show Us Where You Live Friday

Hey ya all! I have sooo many things to post abt this week but sadly enough I have no idea where the cord is to download my pics from my camera of projects that I have worked on. My absolute favorite being the new mistreatments in the living room! Since that will have to wait I am joining back in on the fun over at Kelly's Korner. This week is birthday parties. With a 5 yr old and a 3 yr old we have had many parties. My favorite of course are their first birthdays.

Oldest's first birthday was a farm theme. I had found the cutest Little People Farm cake up at the Kroger. The plates and napkins and what not I ordered all off the computer. There are many more farm themes to choose from these days since this was almost 6 yrs ago. I made the little goodies bags and for the life of me I have no idea what I put in them except for some chocolate chip cookies that I made with a farm animal muffin pan that I also found on the web. His invites were adorable as well and if I find the pic of them I will attach it.

Sorry deleted pic.
Here is my first born having a pre party snack in his birthday cow bib I made for him. They grow up way to fast ya all! It brings tears to my eyes to think he will be 6 in a blink of an eye. I remember it like it was yesterday. The high chair he is sitting in was his daddies! It is in the attic just in case we ever need it again!;)

This is Littliest's first birthday almost 4 yrs ago and I have to say my favorite by far though I wish I could have found frog prince plates and napkins. The cake was made by a local gal here in Tx. The goodie bag was a beach ball that blew up into a frog. I just wrapped um in blue tulle with a ribbon and put um in a bowl.

Here is a close up of the cake. It was super yummy and she did a fantastic job! I wish I was that talented. I had attempted a cow cake for Oldest but that did not work but so hence the Kroger cake.

Here is an up close of Littliest birthday bib I made. I had found the fabric at Joanns and fell in love with it though it was a flannel.I just had to use it. I believe I still have more of it.

And there of course is the birthday boy in his finest. He wore his Gymboree frog onesie and frog overalls that day. I loved that group so much that he had multiple sizes to last him for a year. A bit obsessive!? Maybe but he sure was a cutie!

So there are my birthday boys. I have so much fun planning the boys parties and know if we ever have a little girl I would go crazy! I already have a cupcake birthday bib ready! Off to look at everybody else's birthday fun! Have a good one ya all!

  2. Hello again, yep you guessed it that is the famous Baybrook Santa. He is so great! Oh and that is really cool that we use the same bright yellow sponge to watch our children during our "boring time" LOL too funny! Do you still live in the area?
