Tips For Visiting Round Top Texas

Happy Easter everyone! I hope that y'all have a blessed day with your family.

I mentioned that last weekend we almost made it up to Round Top so I thought that I would re-share my trip from 3 years ago that includes tips for those who are planning on going and have never been. I am hoping to drive up one day this week to seek out a few treasures.

Round Top- A Quick Trip

Twice a year there is Antique Week up in and around Round Top,Texas. They have a Spring show and then one in the fall. I had not been in a few years and wanted to drive up. Round Top is only about an hour and half away from our new stomping ground but I did not want to go alone so when my friend Janet texted and asked if I wanted to go I said heck yea!

Farmhouse Love

It is that time of year again when we get excited for Round Top Antique week. It actually lasts longer than a just a week because some places open up for two weeks. I am not sure if I will make it up there or not but I thought that I would take a trip down memory lane. Back in the Spring of 2015 we drove up to Round Top to tour some farmhouses that at the time a builder was offering. Since then the builder no longer builds them but they truly started our love and quest for a farmhouse style home.

Round Top Antique Week- Tips for The Best Shopping Experience

Round Top, Texas is a quaint little town north west of Houston by about two hours. Twice a year it comes to life along with all the other sleepy little towns surrounding it for Antique Week. The original Round Top Antique Spring Show is the first weekend of April this year. Vendors from all across the country come to set up and many of them show up two weeks before the actual Round Top Antique Weekend.
