Vignettes do not always have t be elaborate affairs but can be simple and sweet. This is my favorite little ornament and mini stocking. To see more you can click here. |

Sometimes you only need a few pieces to create a beautiful vignette. All I used here was some fresh greenery, my favorite nativity and everyday items. You can see more of this vignette here. |

Some people stick with themes for all of their holiday decorating but I decorate with a mixture of Christmas items that I love. My Christmas taste vary from traditional to vintage so I try to mix them together like here with my transferware plates and vintage Santa mugs. I also like to throw in a bit of whimsy for fun like the little wool mouse who likes to come out and play every year. You can click here to see more. |

Over the past few years I have started collecting Christmas village pieces and like to scatter them about the house instead of in one large setting. You can click here to see more of my Christmas village. |

I love the nostalgia of Christmas past and like to incorporate vintage pieces in my holiday decorating like this child's bible and vintage milk glass. |

One of my most favorite vignettes is this centerpiece I created for our breakfast nook table. Whenever I use this piece I get the most questions about this candle base. It actually has three toppers that go with it but I mostly use it without. I purchased it from a Christmas shopping event quite a few years ago and it will always be a favorite staple of mine to use. I will be sharing some more Christmas Inspiration posts between now and Thanksgiving. Anything from my own past holiday decor to inspiration I see while out and about shopping. I am sure you will find something to spark your decorating imagination. Sharing at these wonderful blogs: Shabbyfufu French Country Cottage |
