Fall Breakfast Nook- A Look Back

I will be honest we have yet to bring all of our boxes out of storage since moving in. That means I do not have all of my fall decor so I am going thru what I do have and trying to pull together some fall goodness here at the new house. Till then I thought that I would revisit fall in our breakfast nook back in 2015. This was my favorite by far at our previous home!

I loved this display I came up with before I had found my vintage pie safe. Currently the open shelving is in Mr. Front Porch's office but I have plans to bring it into our breakfast nook here at the new house.

I am missing my brown transferware. We didn't move into our new home till November of last year and by then there was so much going on that Fall decor was not on my radar. I think this weekend we may have to go and get some boxes!

Our old kitchen table. This table is 16 years old and though we no longer use it for dining on it is being used as a desk upstairs in the boys game room.

The open shelving functions perfectly as a bakers rack so I can not wait to get it back in the kitchen. I wish I had wall space to hang the rolling pins up here at the new house.

I changed out the chandelier from this picture so I still have this one. I think I may try talking Mr. Front Porch into hanging it up out on our front porch.

Have you started your fall decorating?

Sharing at Feather Nest Friday!

  3. Hi Pam,
I always loved that bakers rack and it was really cool when you hung the rolling pins on the wall. That farmers wire basket is cool too. Happy Friday. Happy Weekend.

  4. I really like the table runner and napkins. Did you make them or buy them? I have just started to decorate for fall.

  5. I love your old little dining nook. I feel your pain in the moving department. We sold our home of 19 years last summer and moved into our current home- a 1960s fixer upper. I think we do finally have everything out of storage and have gotten rid of most of the stuff we no longer need at this house. Good luck!
