| Growing up we always vacationed on the East coast. We went to Jekyll Island numerous occasions, St. Agustine once , Daytona Beach and then later on when I was in my early 20's I visited Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head Island. I would have to say my favorite would be Hilton Head. Since being married we have always vacationed on the Gulf Coast. We stopped off in Destin on the way home from a Ga trip and well that was it. We fell in love with the white sand and crystal clear blue water! We have vacationed on the Florida Panhandle ever since. |

| This beach rental is certainly dreamy and has gotten only positive reviews! I am huge review reader when it comes to rentals. You can never read too many to be sure you are actually renting what you are seeing in pics. I hear this place is even more than what you see! Have you ever been to Anna Maria Island? Yes, I have been there and it is lovely. I lived in Naples Florida for many years and it is about 90 minutes south of Sarasota. Another place to check out near there is St. Armands Key.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. West coast is where it's at! I can't understand anyone choosing the east coast after seeing the west. But that's must my two cents 😀
ReplyDeleteWe run away to Sarasota/Venice Beach area every chance we get. As a matter of fact it's where we are going to be on a week and a half. We go straight there and then we weave our way up the coast . Yes, we do stop at Anna Maria Island, north of Sarasota. The beaches are simply amazing and the shopping... oh my the shops are to die for!! We Always come back with a full car.
Have a wonderful time. Hopefully you can talk the Mr into coming south one day.
WOW! You're breaking my heart Pamela. sure puts Pacific Beach, San Diego to shame. Actually rate not bad if 2 other couples go in with a couple. I'd never want to leave. Never been to that part of country but would love to stay at that house. Would be nice to win HGTV house when it's on a beach. Have lovely week, dream on.
