We currently own a two story house. There are two oversized bedrooms upstairs that have their own baths. There is also a game room and a media room. Our boys choose to share a bedroom. Their room is practically the same size as our master bedroom downstairs. When they were younger we rarely ever used the upstairs. They preferred being downstairs near us. Now that they are older they spend a ton of time up there between the game room and media room.
Our coffee table that was formally in the living room now resides up here. If we end up staying this room has a great start. |
While we are upstairs I thought I would share our stair landing as well. It is actually one of my favorite features of this home. |
Back when we installed the pool we had a large pine tree taken down from the side of our home. We were afraid of it falling on our bedroom someday. To replace it we planted a Crape Myrtle with pink flowers. That was three years ago and the Myrtle has grown so large. When it blooms it makes for a beautiful backdrop when looking out the window. In case you missed it, yesterday I shared our dining room to include links to some of my favorite dining room posts. |
You know that more storage makes a house much more sellable - less than built in computer areas because so many now use portable laptops or ipads......it would cost you as much to enclose that for storage than it would to get new lighting and concrete tops....maybe it isn't such a big dream after all - ?
ReplyDeleteWhatever you decide to do your house is awesome. I hope you sell it fast or keep it forever and make it your very own dream - cuz it is THAT nice. : - )
Thank you Michele! I would love to make its storage. The boys are wanting a desk top though and hubby is adamant they will not have a desk top in their bedroom so this would be their area. I may even end up turning it into a sewing area. Our younger has mentioned he may want his own bedrooms. He just is not sure yet. So lots of fun projects to do if we stay!:)
DeleteSuper gorgeous space. I love the old door in the corner!!!!
