Treasure Hunt Thursday #213, Highlights & Master Bathroom Update

The dog days of summer certainly have arrived here in Texas. It is HOT! We have not yet reached triple digits but it is coming in the next few days and though the thermometer has not read triple it has felt well over 100. 
Master bathroom update-Painting- From My Front Porch To Yours

With it being so hot I decided to get back to the master bath makeover. I spent over 7 hours earlier this week climbing up and down this giant ladder.

I also took down the old lighting. Ignore the dust that has collected over time on them!;)

Sneak peek at the new lighting. I decided to put them up even though they will be coming back down so we can hopefully build out the mirrors. Mr. Front Porch is not on  board with that idea yet but I have my fingers crossed!;)
Master bathroom new paint- Sherwin Williams Antique White- From My Front Porch To Yours
The new color instantly brightened the room and makes it feel twice as big. The old camel color made it so dark in here. I do not know why it took me so long to paint this room. It was top on my list 6 years ago before we even closed on this house. I am trying to brainstorm on how to get up to that one little corner. Since our tub sits at an angle there really is not a good place to lean the ladder against the wall. We will figure it out though.
