Ballard Designs Santos Cage Doll- A Loving Gift

You ever have an item on your wish list that you just can never bring yourself to purchase? You look at it every time the catalog comes in the mail and you have it bookmarked on your desktop. There are always other things that require the extra money so you just sigh and say maybe one day.

Well my some day came when Mr. Front Porch heard me say that my dream item- a Santos Cage Doll- had gone on clearance over at Ballard Designs and we had a discount code.

 I was so excited when she arrived! I think she is just exquisite but Mr. Front Porch not so much. He says she creeps him out. It doesn't help that the movie trailer for Annabelle kept playing on tv when she arrived!;)

Her natural muslin skirt is beautiful with the delicate lace at the waist.

I can not wait to dress her up with a crown and make her some wings. I have wings already that I ordered from Santos Cage Doll for my Faux Santos Cage Doll but since this one has a soft bodice there is no way of attaching the wings come Christmas time.

I debated on where to place her and every place I came up with was nixed by Mr. Front Porch well because he doesn't like my doll!;)

I ended up placing her here outside our guest bedroom. I think she is just perfect for welcoming our guest.

She does not have a name yet. What do you think her name should be?
