I have always had an infinity for pigs, roosters and cows. If you come to our home you will spot at least one of each somewhere.
Over the past few years I have been adding to my cow collection to Mr. Front Porches dismay. We live in Texas so it is kinda hard not to collect cows!;) |
This guy hangs out in our laundry room. |
Bessie use to hang out in our foyer. She has since found a new spot on the house. |
My favorite cow pieces are those that are vintage finds like this pastoral scene. |
Here is another vintage find, a glass cow salt cellar. I have more to share on salt cellars on another day. |
Right now if I had to pick a favorite cow in my collection I would have to say this piece would be it. |
I'll say Mooo, to that! I love them too, and that little wreath is so much fun. I have that same vintage print of the English landscape. You have a great collection!
ReplyDeleteYou do have a lot of cows! I have never been a huge fan but they do look adorable in your home. Your favorite is also my favorite, so cute!
ReplyDeleteGiGi I actually have even more but I do not have them all out at one time. They all take turns!;)
DeleteUnlike your collection! I'm a little obsessed with pigs- especially flying pigs!
ReplyDeleteOh I have a couple of cow paintings that I love too and a wood cow silhouette that hangs on my wall. Yours are super.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection!
ReplyDeleteHi Pamela,
ReplyDeleteLove your collection. Love cows too.
Happy Weekend.

Wow-you do have a lot of cows-so cute!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your cows! If I were to collect them, those are the ones I would choose! What DON'T I collect!? The collection I have to most of are vintage frames....all over the house!!
ReplyDeleteGreat collection Pamela. I love having collections.

What a moooooooooooooooooving post! I love cows, but I collect chickens! The thing about collecting something, is that when other people find out that you "collect" something, all of their unwanted members come a calling at your doorstep! I can't tell you how many times I have simply opened my front door to go outside to find a ceramic chicken on my porch, poised and staring at me with those little beady chicken eyes, begging me to take them inside...............cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck....peep! Nanny
ReplyDeleteI am in love!!!
