The Urban Market

Over the weekend I attended The Urban Market Houston Antique Show with my friend Brenda. We had such a great time.

My friend Jennifer of Metamorphosis Designs had a space there.

Her items were beyond amazing! Most everything she sells she handcrafts. True talent I tell ya!
I thought this handmade crown was cute. Super easy to make with some wire and cheesecloth and a finial.

We saw lots of bling! I can picture this antique chandy hanging over a large bath tub.

Lots of eye candy everywhere.

These shipping baskets were amazing! I was surprised they were only $300. I thought they would have been twice that. I wanted to bring home one of those little crates but I had to behave myself.

Brenda fell in love with this lamp. It reminded me of something my mama would like as well.

I wish I could remember the name of all the booths we stopped at but I can't. This man had a hidden treasure of things. Tables full of odds n ends from old lamps and what not. So many things you could do with the pieces. We spent a lot of time sifting thru it all.

I am a lover of roos so this fella caught my eye.

There was even an Annie Sloan Paint Demo going on held by Wonderfaux Home.
This bookcase was gorgeous!

No words for this huge mirror!! I hope it found a good home.

There were a lot of different styles represented so something for everybody. I picked up a few goodies along the way and I got to meet a super sweet fellow blogger. I will share more about that later this week!:)
