I can not believe that is officially fall! I am so ready for the cooler temps. We had some but over the weekend temps crept back up to 94. Not so fallish. I admit I have been dragging my feet BIG time on the fall decorating. I tried really hard this past week to get in the mood but it just was not happening. I went in my decor closet turned the light on, stared for 5 minutes, and then turned the light back off and walked out. I was just not feeling it and I know I am wayyyyyy behind everybody else.
Or at least I was.

Even though the heat and humidity returned over the weekend I started pulling the outside decor together. |

ReplyDeleteBeautiful mum...looking forward to seeing your finished porch!!! Happy Fall Pamela!
ReplyDeleteWow, those mums are awesome! I want to put some out; but, I felt like it was too warm. I just want to finish off my entry!
ReplyDeleteLooks so pretty Pamela! Can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteI get my mums at Costco too and I love the yellow ones! Everything is looking beautiful Pamela!

I'm having the same problem with fall decorating! But the temps have dropped so more in the mood this week. Glad I'm not the only one, Laura
ReplyDeleteNothing like mums to usher in fall! Those look like big ones!
ReplyDeleteWhat huge mums, Pamela! I have done things the opposite of you ~ I got the little bit of Fall out for inside and still need to do the outside. I have to go get some mums this week and I've got my faux pumpkin topiary for the urn by the front door.
ReplyDeleteHey, you're off to a good start! You can never go wrong with beautiful mums.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by,
Mary Alice
love those giant Costco Mums =) I was slow to start this year, also, but now I think I'm in full swing.
ReplyDeleteAnd I do not believe that spring is here already. I love this time of year.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
I sooo wish it would cool down! I bought mums and pumpkins, but the heat is killing them both! I look forward to seeing your completed fall decorating! Love the big, lush, mums!
ReplyDeleteI love mums! That will give your yard a jolt of wonderful color this time of year. Looks like your door is all decked out nicely too. I haven't done anything outside yet. See? You're not as behind as you thought!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! That is one huge Mum! I'm going to Costco! Thanks for sharing! Love the wreath!
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been awesome here in Baltimore, infact.. we've got a fire burning tonight. I haven't done anything to the outside of the house yet ~ I still need to finish painted the siding, don't wanna decorate until i do.
ReplyDeletehave a great tuesday.
I with you! I am having a very hard time sharing what little bit I have done because it just is not time. It is still too hot, lol, and not very "fallish" here in Ms.
ReplyDeleteOur temps are still in the 90's, too, but I'm pushing through the pain of it....lol! I bought one of those Costco mums, too, and seriously thinking about more. I couldn't believe the price!
ReplyDeleteLove the mums. Can't wait for the rest.

Gorgeous wreath and I think it's okay to not be so creative ALL the time. You are perfect just as you are.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! You really have the touch! Would love it if you would share this at my Make it Pretty Monday party at The Dedicated House. http://thededicatedhouse.blogspot.com/2012/09/make-it-pretty-monday-week-16.html Hope to see you at the bash! Toodles, Kathryn @TheDedicatedHouse
