Today I rented one of these and was going to have The Hubster drive it. |
Instead I decided to give it a whirl. |
The boys joined in on the fun!:) |
We picked up this Thomasville dresser that also has its mirror. |
It also came the two side tables. I don't believe they have their original knobs so I will be switching those out probably for some clear crystal ones. |
Aren't these doors just dreamy!? |
Pamela, What a fabulous find I love it. That armiore is beautiful. I am sure when you're done it will be gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great set of furniture. I can't wait to see it when your finished painting.

Oh, those are such beautiful pieces of furniture, and the armoire is amazing! I am kind of boring with furniture, everything around here seems to get painted either grey or white! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far, and congratulations on scoring such great finds! :)
Blessings,
Jenni
I think it's gorgeous, Pamela! Well, the lines of it, I'm sure it will become truly gorgeous once you are done with it! Will you sell this set or are you looking to keep it for yourself?
ReplyDeleteWow, gorgeous furniture. Wish I had that armoire. Just the shape I want.

ReplyDeleteYou're going to have so much fun painting these pieces! Love the curvy lines. My first thought was gray. But white, pale blue...anything light and airy. But I'm confident that whatever you choose will be stunning!
ReplyDeleteI'm so freaking impressed you drove that u-haul!
ReplyDeleteI just bought the same set! What color did you decide on? Would love to see the finished product!
ReplyDeleteJessica, I actually painted the nightstands in a blue color and striped and re-stained the tops. They turned out gorgeous! The dresser and Armoire are still waiting for a makeover. Here is the link for them.http://www.frommyfrontporchtoyours.com/2012/07/bye-bye-tangerine-tango.html
