Lessons Learned

I am learning to actually love our blue back door. It took some time but it is growing on me. Yes, the blue back door behind all that living room furniture.

Learning that I really do not like tight spaces.

Already knew I HATE my house being in disarray.

Learning that the minimalist look may be the way to go.

Okay maybe this is too minimal. Not really digging the concrete floor and we will probably be looking at for an entire week though I am hopeful we will get the living room done tomorrow....I mean today Sunday.

As for the fireplace, we learned that yes ya always need to start from the bottom and work your way up! Hard lesson to be learned. Also learned that puzzle tile is NOT as easy to work with as we thought but it all worked out in the end and let me tell y'all I am LOVING it!!! Stay tuned for more updates on our reno adventure!
Hope your weekend is going well and thanx for stopping by to say hi!  Off to dreamland!:)
Linking up to BNOTP Metamorphosis Monday.

  3. Wow, you have been busy busy. Love the new fireplace tile with the oops. That flooring will be beautiful. I would wait till the flooring is down to decide on a rug when you can really visualize it. Good luck.

  4. Oh gosh, Pamela, I know exacty what you mean! We haven't done anything as major in a while, but I remember feeling discombobulated with everything moved every which way. I hate that, too! The stone is looking wonderful though.

  6. Ugghhh...this brings back memories of projects we have done in the past that I have been trying to forget! :-) You and Heather need to talk because she is working on her kitchen and is living in the midst of chaos too. Hang in there and have a glass of wine! :-)
