Fluffing My Space & A Sale

Some of you emailed me asking me my plans for Jennie. Well I took her out to The Old Oak Cottage today to put in my space. I think she looks right at home there but hopefully she won't be there long.
I did some fluffing and added a few new accessories.

The Old Oak Cottage is having a sale tomorrow.
If you are local come out and shop! The cottage and showroom are looking fabulous! Lots of new goodies thru out.

Next up I need to finish "Whitney" and the farmhouse coffee table I am working on.

When I came in today I saw this beautiful mirror hanging above my space. I fell in love with it. I am just not sure I can part with the $100 it will take to bring it to my house.

Hope your week was a good one! Sending prayers out for those effected by the terrible storms this week.

More Holiday Eye Candy!

Happy Sunday y'all! I hope your weekend is going well. I am recovering from a bought of chest congestion and as you may know that always kicks ya down for a tad bit. This is my second bought with it and I am sure due to the weather not deciding which way it wants to go. Most days it is upper 70s and then two days we will have lower 60s and 30s at night. It is reeking havoc on all of my family.
Anyways, since I have not been doing too much I thought I would share the last pics I have of the Christmas Open House out at The Old Oak Cottage

Also do not forget to enter my Shabby Apple  Giveaway! It ends tomorrow night.

I will share the showroom soon! Trust me you will want to come back!

Hope your weekend is going well!

Out At The Cottage

With Round Top behind us Marci and I spent  a few days last week getting the shop back together. She took a TON from the Cottage and thus it was pretty much starting from scratch. We moved a LOT of furniture around and now every room looks completely different than before!

I have to admit I actually loved moving the furniture around and finding new homes for it.

This is my favorite room now. We refer to it as the turquoise room.

I just love how it all came together! For some more eye candy hop on over to The Old Oak Cottage. I am getting ready to do a new post!:)

Before I go I want to give a shout out to Traci and Dusty! These gals drove an hour out to The Old Oak Cottage today just to come and say Hi and to let me know they follow my blog! I was a little giddy to say the least!;) I really enjoyed chatting with um and hearing all about their Round Top trip. Thanx ladies for stopping in and I hope you had a fun day of shopping! Come on back anytime!:)

Tea Time

Last week was my first week working over at The Old Oak Cottage. I am so glad that I had something to take my mind off the boys being at school all day. I think I would have gone mad. Right now I go in on Wed and we freshen things up. This past week we were able to freshen up two rooms in the cottage.  Today I am going to share one of those rooms.

Welcome! Won't you join me for some tea!? We brought the rug in from storage and moved the table  in from another room.I just love the pink toile pillows!

Yes, the table is a tad busy but remember it is a display to sell and not necessarily function!:)

I love this iron tiered center piece! The desserts on top where in the cutest little cloches but somebody purchased them before I could get a pic. A good problem to have!

The cottage has all differrnt kinds of tea pots.

Doesn't this antique chandy just scream "Take Me Home"!?

Yep, I am enjoying work!
