Pantry Door Fall Pumpkin Wreath

It is that time of year when pumpkins start showing up around our home. Yes, it may still feel like summer outside but inside we can pretend there is chill in the air. One of the first places I added some fall goodness was our pantry door since you can see it as you first enter our home.

I found this great pumpkin wreath at Walmart and instantly fell in love with it's large bow. I thought it would be perfect for in our kitchen.

Here is the everyday wreath that hangs on our pantry door.

Most would have called it a day after swapping out the everyday wreath for the pumpkin wreath but I could not leave well enough alone.

I got out my trusty scissors and my floral wire.

I then took the pumpkin wreath and placed it on top of the everyday wreath and secured it with the floral wire.

Yes much better now.

Sometimes all it takes is a little tweaking. Now the wreath  looks perfect!
