French Farmhouse Vignettes

Yesterday I revealed our DIY Wood Beams in the living room and have since received emails about where I purchased a few of my accessories.
Adding farmhouse touches with accessories.- From My Front Porch To Yours

So today I thought that I would share a few of those vignettes and the sources plus a few more.
Vintage porcelain cow piggy bank adds to the farmhouse decor at From My Front Porch To Yours.
The vintage porcelain cow is actually a piggy bank. I purchased him last summer while antiquing in Atlanta. One of my favorite finds to date!
French Farmhouse fireplace mantel vignette using items from HomeGoods, HobbyLobby and Target.- From My Front Porch To Yours
Our simple fireplace mantel. The lanterns I use thru out the year around the home. They came from HomeGoods. You can always find great lanterns at HomeGoods at decent prices. The ornate scrolly iron piece I purchased from HobbyLobby 50% off and the preserved boxwood wreath from Target.
French Farmhouse vignette on table top at From My Front Porch To Yours.
This vintage lamp is one of my favorite finds from a few years back while antiquing at my mama's. I added a shade from one of my HobbyLobby lamps to it.
Creative Co-Op Mary Statue with crown used to create a French Farmhouse vignette at From My Front Porch To Yours.
Speaking of my mama this Mary statue is what my mama bought for me for my birthday when we went shopping at Laurie's back in March. We loved it so much that she even bought one for herself to carry home on the plane. If you like to find one and do not live in the Houston area I have seen her for sale on Antique Farmhouse from time to time. The maker is Creative Co-op and you possibly may even be bale to find her online from other shops as well.
Crocheted tote from HomeGoods with wooden rosary beads create a French Farmhouse mood over at From My Front Porch To Yours.
This crochet tote hopped in my cart one day last month when I was at HomeGoods.
Faux Hydrangea Flowers from Hobby Lobby and Michaels add a spring feel over at From My Front Porch To Yours.
My faux hydrangeas came from HobbyLobby and Michaels. They are the prettiest and the most realistic looking ones I have seen. I waited till they were on sale to scoop them up and purchased them a few at a time.
Floral Pillows by French Laundry adorn a Flex Steel Tufted sofa over at From My Front Porch To Yours.
When we installed the wood beams I decided it was a good time to move our couch back to its original place. I always move it over when the Christmas tree comes out.
French Laundry vintage like floral pillows along with a pillow made from a napkin.- From My Front Porch To Yours
The floral pillows are a Round Top purchase from French Laundry. The middle crocheted edge pillow was made from a napkin. I like using pieces that are special to me around our home. The white crocheted blanket Mr. Front Porch's grandmother made for Oldest when he was born is one of those special items. She has since left us but I always enjoy looking at her creations and smile. I wish she was still here so I could have her teach me how to crochet.
Guest Bedroom hallway decorated with a santos doll, wreath and vintage gold mirror at From My Front Porch To Yours.
While freshening things up for Spring I changed up the little hallway into our guest bedroom. I hung a pretty vintage gold mirror and moved the Guest Cottage sign over to the door.

Hope your week is going well. I pray that everyone has made it thru the storms ok and prayers of course being sent up for those in Baltimore.

  5. Very pretty, Pamela! Love the lamp shade. Now I have to look for two of those at Hobby Lobby. I'd like them for our master bedroom lamps. I have hydrangeas on my list of things to get and I will be looking for those at Hobby Lobby, too. I'm bringing my coupon but it would be nice if they were on sale.

  6. Pamela,
Love the look of your home--- very pretty, yet inviting to make yourself at home. I'm going to watch for those HL hydrangeas.
