Though the weather keeps flip flopping on us I could not hold out any longer, I had to start adding spring touches to our home.
One of the first areas in our home where Spring has sprung is our breakfast nook. |
Mr. Hop Along, aka. bunny on a stick, made his return this year. I had used him a few years back in our dining room after giving him make over. |
What inspired me this year was this beautiful Green & White Toile Bunny Transferware that I had found at HomeGoods. I immediately fell in love with it! |
Little bunny salt & pepper shakers from HomeGoods a few years back. |
I even worked in a few pieces of vintage green and white transferware that I have. |
Vintage cow bell we use as the dinner bell...well not really but Littlest thought it would be a good idea!;) |
Before I go because I know I will be asked, the bunny transferware is made by Maxcera and the pattern is called Green & White Toile. The solid green dishes are made by Home Essentials & Beyond pattern Madison. I have not been able to find any of the Madison even on Ebay. Ebay does have a few listings of the Bunny Toile but they are out my budget on there. If you have a HomeGoods near by I suggest try looking there first. The Ebay listings have them marked up 4x what I purchased my pieces at if not more. Thank you for stopping by to visit. I hope to share our spring dining room with you next or maybe possibly the wood beam reveal!;) And one last thing cause I know my mama will be reading this- Happy Birthday MaMa! You better hide your bunny plates!;) Sharing at these lovely blogs: Between Naps on The Porch A Stroll Thru Life Dwellings Costal Charm My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia Concord Cottage Common Ground |

Black, white and green are my favorite classic color combination!!!
Yours is pure delight!!!
Happy hunting for your additional pieces of green transferware!!!

The bunny pattern is pure delight!!! And I like them with the solid plates better......they take center stage instead of it all being matchy, matchy.....know what I mean?? You got some wonderful pitchers and serving pieces.....now, I have to go look for them too!!! The entire nook is so fresh and pretty.......love the linens you used.....
ReplyDeleteOh my, such a welcoming and beautiful home... I just discovered your blog! You're very talented! Could you give me more particulars on how you refinished your bunny? Like what colors did you use and in what order? I love seeing how people can upgrade things with a little paint and polish and want to try but it's a little intimidating since I don't know what I'll end up with. Thanks a bunch!
ReplyDeleteHi Kimberly! Thank you for stopping by today. If you click on the blue link that says "him a makeover" it will take you to the post I did about making him over. It was super easy!
DeleteI really like your green bunny pitcher and mugs they are adorable and your table area looks so nice
ReplyDeleteHome Goods has such fabulous dishes I just have to stay away, I always want more dishes when I go there
Oh, I just love the bunny dishes, Pamela! I also really like how you've pulled everything together to create such a cozy and charming breakfast nook. I love what you did with the chandy, especially covering the chain with burlap -- I'm probably going to be copy-catting that!
ReplyDeletePamela,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing all your pretty Spring touches at my Show and Share Party. You will be featured at the party on Monday.
