Christmas Mantel 2014 & Blog Hop

Today I am so excited to be sharing the first of our holiday decor with you all, our Christmas mantel. To make it even better I am sharing our mantel along with 10 other lovely ladies. Each have their own unique Christmas decorating style so there will be plenty of inspiration to go around. I will include a peek of their mantels at the end of my post.
Christmas Mantel 2014- From My Front Porch To Yours
For our mantel I decided to carry on my French Farmhouse style but added some vintage touches as well.
Ice Skates-Christmas Mantel 2014- From My Front Porch To Yours
I used a similar frame to last years for the mantel focal point.

Candy Cane stripes are a theme you will see thru out all our Christmas decor this year.

Grain Sack Christmas Stockings- Buffalo Check Christmas Stockings-French Farmhouse Vintage Christmas Mantel 2014- From My Front Porch To Yours
A new addition this year are the red striped grain sack stockings. I just love them! I have four but you will have to wait to see where I used the other two!;)

Santos Cage Doll-French Farmhouse Vintage Christmas Mantel 2014- From My Front Porch To Yours
Of course I had to include my beautiful Santos Cage Doll. Since she has a soft bodice I had to attach her wings by using fishing lure.
Wire Brush Christmas Tree-French Farmhouse Vintage Christmas Mantel 2014- From My Front Porch To Yours
Another favorite addition is this vintage inspired wire brush tree sitting on top of my mama's childhood sled. I use her sled every year by the fireplace so this year was to be no different. The tree was a steal for only $12! Most of the vintage themed ornaments I purchased last year from Target after Christmas so they were a steal as well.

Oldest and Littlest love the old farm truck filled with Christmas trees.
