Our half bath remodel is finally 99% completed! I was so excited to show y'all how it turned out after a little over 3 months of pulling it all together. |
Before I share the new half bath here are a few pics of how it looked before hand. |
The sink has been something I wanted to change out since we moved in. With small kiddos those pointy edges are not kind and I can not tell you how many tears were shed from the boys hitting them. If you would like to see more of the half bath before you can click on over to here. |
Welcome to our new and improved half bath! Be prepared for MAJOR picture overload. |
This is a tiny space and I honestly thought I would have issues getting good pictures for y'all so I was surprised when I saw they came out pretty well. |
Rug from Target. |
I decided since it is the holidays I was just going to go ahead and decorate in here for the season. |
Vintage turquoise Ball canning jars I purchased back in June while we were in Peridido Key,Fl. |
Here is the other view into the half bath. |
I love its rustic chippy goodness. |
I love its time worn beauty. |
Of course we changed out the sink. I had been eyeing this sink for almost two years now. I knew as soon The Hubster agreed to me starting this project that this was the sink for in here. |
I have to share this cute soap dispenser that The Hubster's cousin Tina made for us. It was a Pinterest project she found and it came out great. I just adore it! |
So there ya have our half bath makeover! It took a a bit longer than I had hoped but I had to do it a little at a time. It also cost a tad more than I had hoped but that is always what happens when you do a remodel of sorts. Speaking of which remember how I said the bath is 99% complete? Well the other 1% is going to cost us/me $100 to finish and once I get over being irritated I will call the plumber in to remedy the situation. Ends up that our water lines are too short to reach the faucet so our pretty new sink does not work yet. We have some type of stupid water line system that requires a crimping tool to cut off the lines and attach the extensions. I have been told it takes literally all of 5 minutes to do so you can see why I am irked that it will cost $100. I am hoping that I can find somebody to do it for far less. In the meantime though I have been known to just go and sit down in here and ponder life and what project I am going to start on next. Toilet closed of course!;) Thanx for stopping by and lasting thru all of my reveal!:) I am linking up to the following linky parties: Nifty Thrifty Tuesday Wow Us Wednesdays Holiday Home Feathered Nest Friday Inspiration Friday |
