Instead of cleaning my house I am in the midst of a project and have come to a stand still cause I can not decide how to accomplish what it is I wish to do.
Do I figure out how to hang the mirror on the mirror or should I take the mirror out of its frame and figure out how to just hang the frame??
Ladies does anybody have any clue to how one would go about hanging a mirror on top of a mirror?? |
Pamela, you can get a command strip which will stick to your mirror and then hang your mirror on that. Get one for the proper weight and you let it dry for an hour before hanging anything on it. That is how I hung my Santa head on my mirror at Christmas. Works like a charm.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I was going to suggest what Kim did. Those things can carry some weight and do rally well. Good luck and I hope you are able to do it!

Pamela, I saw your comment about living near Wonderfaux Studio in Houston. Wonderfaux is giving away a free Faux paint class on my blog. http://cedarhillranch.blogspot.com/2011/05/chalk-paint-class-give-away.html

Command strips were what I thought of too! Hope they work for you. Love your inspiration photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comment on my 'chocolate' coffee table!
I love this look! I was wondering the same thing. Hope the Command strips work!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely dresser! The mirror looks amazing! Have a fabulous weekend, Kellie xx
ReplyDeletePamela, I had a disaster at Christmas using Command stips and broke all my mercury glass. A glass company can drill a hole in the mirror which you would attach a hanger. You can also use heavy fishing wire and hang the mirror from the crown moulding or wall.
ReplyDeleteHope this helps.
