Next Project

So I am pretty much at a stand still with the flooring until The Hubster cuts the shoe moldings for me to paint so I started on the sister table of the table I sold a few weeks back. HobLob had their stencils all 40% off last week so I picked up this larger one to place in the center instead of the smaller design I did last time around. 

Instead of using it like a stencil I just traced with a pencil the design and had to tweak it a tad so it would fit within the lines.

I painted the design on with an antiquing medium that I purchased at HobLob as well. 

While waiting for the top to dry I need to decide on the color for the base. I think I may leave some of the spindle part Vanillan and do a green. Of course the entire piece will be distressed and antiqued cause well thats my thing!:)

Before I go and start dinner I wanted to leave ya with a pic of one of our furry kids. I thought it was funny how Sophia was dealing with the kayos around here these days. If there's a will there's a way to find a comfy place to rest!
